A few blocks from the Azur Hotel, stands the Jesuit Block in downtown Córdoba.
In 1608, the Jesuits began the construction of the current block, as part of their academic and evangelists plans on the continent. The works include the Compañía de Jesús church, the domestic chapel, National University of Córdoba, the National Montserrat College and the Historical Museum of the University.
They are a living testimony of the impressive architecture of the seventeenth century and Latin American baroque.
